A day out with a friend and charity knitting.

Today was reserved for celebrating Janet's birthday. It was just a few days after the actual "54" birthday. We had lunch at a fairly new restaurant, Print Work Bristo which is located at Green Valley Drive in Greensboro at the Proximity Hotel. It was the first time at the Bristo for the both of us and I must say it lived up to the glowing reviews. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy good food.

After lunch we went over to the Grande to see "Julie and Julia." It was relaxing and very entertaining. A definite "thumbs up" for anyone looking for a good movie.

Tonight, we had our first charity knitting at St. Mary's Church. Our group decided to knit 7 x 9 squares to make an afghan for Hospice House. We will meet the second Wednesday of each month. Can't wait to see how many squares we have completed by next month.

Guess I better go for now.
